At the wedding hair and makeup trial, Heather will discuss what you do and don’t like
At the wedding hair and makeup trial, we will discover what you want to achieve. More importantly, what makes you feel like you. The wedding trial can either take place in the comfort of your own home or you can make an arrangement to see Heather. This usually takes place in the informal atmosphere of her own home in Preston, Lancashire, North West.
The trial is all about deciding what type of make-up or style of hair you want for your wedding day. Heather will go through a discovery meeting to make sure that she fully understands your wants and needs. She will assess your skin, your hair and discuss your desires and expectations. She will then agree with you the brand of products and how the show will implement them on your wedding day.
At the end of the session she will run through and note the agenda of the day; start times, the order of play, venue, numbers to ensure that everything she needs to know is covered.
If your bridal party is over 3 people Heather will come up with a wedding hair and make-up schedule for the day. This will make sure there is plenty of time booked in to get that flawless look. Additionally, to make sure that everyone gets fully pampered. This will help to keep everyone relaxed and calm.
After the wedding hair and makeup trial, Heather will be available to answer any questions
If you have any questions at all or you just want to reassure yourself, Heather will be available at the end of the phone. She will answer any questions and put your mind at rest.
For example, you may decide that you want to discuss again any hair accessories, veil, tiara’s, clips, vine or extensions you wish to use. This is no problem. Heather will listen to your requirements to make sure that any particular accessory will be there to use on the big day.
Heather was professional, warming and made me feel very comfortable and pampered on my special day. As well as doing my makeup Heather also did my wedding hair. I had a lot of long, thick hair that Heather worked with perfectly.
An ideal time to have your trial is two to eight weeks before the wedding day. That way your hair and skin will be as close to how it will be on your Wedding day. You are more likely to have a clearer idea as to what you are looking for and what hair accessories you may want to consider.
On your wedding trial, I would recommend you meet her with little or no makeup on your skin or product in your hair. Hair should be washed either the day before or on the day of the trial if you would normally wash it daily. This will make it easy to replicate on the Wedding day. Heather will also ask you to not take off your make-up or wash your hair after the wedding trial. This is so you can let her know if the hairstyle and makeup lasted throughout the rest of the day. Also, to make sure your make-up stayed consistent with your skin colour.
